Inspired by sweaters in Nigel Cabourn’s archive dating between the 1950s and 1970s, the Embroidered Arrow Crew has been cut slightly longer through the body. This comfortable fit is often a feature of jersey pieces dating around this period: fabric would stretch over time due to the direction of the cut.
The Embroidered Arrow Crew features a full flat-lock stitch construction along the seam originally designed to add extra strength when worn during contact sports. Other details include raglan sleeves, neck strengthening V insert and embroidered broad arrow branding.
Made using a 420gm American loopback jersey, the crew has been specially developed to replicate the look and feel of classic American sportswear. To achieve the desired aged look each garment has undergone a unique pigment dying process in which fading of colour and a dry handle is part of the aesthetic. Further fading will occur through general wear and washing
