RETURNS, REFUNDS & REPAIRS
Online Returns
We accept returns of full price and sale items purchased from our online store (some exclusions apply*). Please notify us of your return and post/courier your item(s) to be returned/exchanged within 14 days of receipt of your order.
We do not accept returns on cosmetic products or earrings. Also, we do not accept returns on lingerie and swimwear, unless the hygiene sticker is still intact. This is our company policy for hygiene and safety reasons.
Returned items that were given free delivery and are being returned for a monetary refund and not exchanged for goods or a credit note will have our flat rate delivery fee of £7.75 deducted from the amount refunded. Please be aware of our delivery fees.

Returning items purchased in store
We process the return of an item purchased in store as an exchange or for a store gift card. Please keep your receipt as proof of purchase and show in store with 14 days of its date.
We offer exchanges only on sale items purchased in store.
Store credit provided as Albion Stores Gift Card
Albion Stores Gift Cards are valid for 12 months from the date of issue and can be redeemed on the Albion Stores website or in store.
Returning your items
You can return your items in 3 ways:
1. Return to store in person
We accept drop off in person of returns and repairs between 11am and 4pm, Thursday to Sunday. Email hello@albionstores.co.uk to let us know you intend to return your order, explaining why you no longer want to keep the item(s), and providing a date and time you intend to deliver your item(s). Then, drop by our Margate Store on Fort Road with your item(s), on the date and time specified.
2. Send your items to our store
Email hello@albionstores.co.uk to let us know you intend to return your order, explaining why you no longer want to keep the item(s). Return the item(s) to us at Albion Stores, 27 Fort Road, Margate CT9 1HF, UK using a tracked delivery service.
Customers outside the UK will be responsible for any import duties due.
3. Use our returns service
Email hello@albionstores.co.uk to let us know you intend to return your order, explaining why you no longer want to keep the item(s) and request a return label. We will issue you with a label to attach to your parcel. Securely wrap your item for return, reusing the packaging we used to deliver your item. Take the parcel to be returned to a DHL pick-up / drop-off point. We will deduct £7.75 from your refund to cover the cost of shipping.
Customers outside the UK will be responsible for all shipping costs and any import duties due. The amount due will be calculated with each return request and will be deducted from the refund.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON RETURNS
Provide as much information on why you wish to return the item. Your feedback helps us better understand how to improve our service.
If you wish to return an online order and receive a full refund, items need to be posted/couriered to us, or returned in person to our store, within 14 days of receipt.
Subject to stock availability, we can also exchange items that are posted/couriered to us within 14 days of receipt. Once your returned item(s) is received by us, your new item(s) will be collected from our store by DHL within 1-2 working days.
A flat rate delivery fee of £7.75 to send a UK return or an exchange is payable by you, and completion of a repair or an exchange is subject to us receiving the shipping fees to deliver the fixed or replacement item. All shipping costs plus duties will be charged for returns outside the UK, Please see our shipping fees.
Returning faulty items
Faulty items can be returned for a refund or exchanged for a replacement item. Return of faulty items will only be accepted if the goods were faulty when received by you, or if a fault becomes noticeable within 4 weeks of receipt of your order.
We take every effort to check your purchase thoroughly for any faults before delivering them to you. All items returned as faulty will be inspected on receipt and any items deemed to be subject to fair wear and tear will not be accepted as faulty.
We will exchange a faulty item if a replacement is in stock and available. In case we cannot offer you a replacement, you will have the choice of receiving a gift card or a refund to the value of the item at the time of purchase.
Email hello@albionstores.co.uk about a fault as soon as the fault is noticeable. A fault will only be accepted if noticed within 4 weeks of receipt of your order.
In the event of a return of a faulty product, contact us as soon as possible to let us know and we will issue you with a returns label to send the faulty item(s) back to us at Albion Stores, 27 Fort Road, Margate CT9 1HF via UPS.
We will only accept returns for non-faulty items provided that the goods in question are returned by you and received by us in the condition they were in when delivered. We will not accept returns for non-faulty items that have been worn and/or tags removed.
Please be aware that non-faulty shoes must be returned with their original packaging, shoes returned without their original boxes cannot be accepted.
Return with tags
All items must be returned with their original tags. We will not accept a return without the original tag. Upon receipt of an order, if any item has been delivered without tags, you should notify us by email immediately. We strongly advise all customers to check items thoroughly upon delivery before removing any attached tags and before disposing of any original packaging.
Refunds
Refunds to Debit/Credit Cards take 2-10 days to clear. Refunds to PayPal can take up to 20 days and are subject to PayPal refund regulations.
Christmas returns
Return any unwanted items bought online between 1st and 31st December 2023 by 15th January 2024 for a full refund.
For any purchases made in store from 1st December 2023, you will have until 15th January 2024 to exchange or for a store gift card.
Garment repairs
If a garment you purchased in store or online becomes damaged, we offer a free repair service - REPAIR.RE-WEAR.
Bring the item for repair to the store in person
We accept drop off in person job of returns and repairs between 11am and 4pm, Thursday to Sunday. Email hello@albionstores.co.uk to let us know you intend to bring your item in for repair, along with any photos of the damage so we can first asses if the item is repairable. If we deem it repairable, we will confirm with you by reply.
The repair will be completed by our experienced seamstress, and will be ready for you to collect, or we can arrange a delivery to you, within 14 days.
A flat rate delivery fee of £7.75 to send a repaired item within the UK is payable by you if you are unable to collect in store, and completion of a repair is subject to us receiving the shipping fees to deliver the item. Shipping fees to deliver outside the UK can be found in our shipping policy.
